Wysong Ferret Epigen 90 is generally considered the best quality kibble for ferrets. It has ~80% protein and fat content which is much higher than typical kibbles which are usually 50-60% at best. Wysong's mission with Epigen 90 is to produce the highest quality kibble possible. This is because, while they acknowledge that kibble is not the healthiest food, they are also aware that in today's age there will always be people who feed kibble because of the cost and convenience. Some ferrets have been known to have issues digesting Wysong (having liquid/soft stool), especially the regular Epigen 90. The "Digestive Support" diet is usually results in better, well-formed stools. It's also recommended to mix Wysong with another kibble or air-dried raw food.
