Stella & Chewy's has a better protein to fat ratio. Absolute Pet's ratio of 1.2 to 1 is too low (too fatty). (The ideal ratio is 2 to 1.) Stella & Chewy's has much fewer ingredients, which is usually a good thing. Both foods are mostly free of fruits, veggies, grains, and starches. Both foods are pea-free.
