This is a handmade toy for pet ferrets! You get one (1) each of a variegated pastel pink, yellow, purple, green and white crochet egg Shaky rattle fun eggie toy for ferrets. These are tightly crocheted with durable 100% cotton yarn and are very popular with the ferrets for stashing and batting around. This particular egg is quite unique because it has a pair of matching crochet tails that you can use to securely tie the egg to something stationary so it doesn't run off! You get the exact toy that is pictured so please observe the details closely. The total length of this toy is about 14" with the tails being around 11" and you can fully adjust the length for hanging as shown in the example photos.
The beans inside the egg are securely sealed inside, then the yarn is crocheted tightly around the egg. The beads make a rattle noise that the ferrets go Crazy for and so do the beans! You can tie this toy from the top bars in a cage so it dangles to tease the ferret as shown in the example photo. You can also tie it up around the legs or rungs of a chair or from the wall in a playpen. Choose whether you want the Jingle or Rattle version as I only have one of each!
For ferrets who like to gnaw on the eggs, it's great exercise and also great flossing action for their teeth, so let them at it. Just make sure to inspect toys regularly and dispose of any with holes chewed in them. Also, inspect regularly to see if your pet is ingesting any of the yarn. Yes, there are some silly ferrets who swallow yarn so this may not be the best toy for all of them. These toys are best when used during supervised playtime instead of leaving them unattended in the cage where bored ferrets can have their way with them.
