I can't wait to see the SIZE of the Chicken that laid this egg! Maybe it's a rare DINO EGG? This thing is large at 6" long and around 5" in diameter in the middle. This egg has a lot of rattle beads inside to make it sound all CrAzY when you shake it or roll it. They are sealed inside the plastic egg and then the crocheting begins and goes on and on and on! These are crocheted with acrylic yarn in pink, purple and lavender. You get the exact crochet shaky, rattle fun rattle toy for pet ferrets as shown here and this is the only one I have in this fab color theme at the moment! These are tightly crocheted with durable poly yarn and should spark up quite an interest with your ferrets who are used to the much smaller and manageable 3" size egg toys that I usually give away with each order of Pickledferret's Pickle juice!
The beads and bells make a great SHaKY & Rattle noise that the ferrets go Crazy for! This egg does have a flat side that is the bottom so it will stay in place and not roll, but I am sure that will be no challenge for a fuzzy who wants to ROLL WITH IT!
For ferrets who like to gnaw on the eggs, it's great exercise and also great flossing action for their teeth, so let them at it. Just make sure to inspect toys regularly and dispose of any with holes chewed in them. Also, inspect regularly to see if your pet is ingesting any of the yarn. Yes, there are some silly ferrets who swallow yarn so this may not be the best toy for all of them. These toys are best when used during supervised playtime instead of leaving them unattended in the cage where bored ferrets can have their way with them.
