Alpha Feeds has a better protein to fat ratio. However, Mazuri's ratio is not bad. (The ideal ratio is 2 to 1.) Alpha Feeds has much fewer ingredients, which is usually a good thing. Mazuri has a slightly lower concentration of fruits, veggies, grains, and starches. Both foods are pea-free. Alpha Feeds contains sugars, which have been linked to insulinoma. Mazuri contains controversial ingredients.
